Our Story

The Knox Knot started with a simple frustration: too many wedding DJs treat the job like a gig instead of a calling. After years in the entertainment industry, founder Elijah teamed up with brothers Chase, Gabriel, and Evan to build something different. Not just a DJ that shows up and plays music, but a team that brings professionalism, preparedness, and a real reverence for the most important day of your life.

Based in East Tennessee, we've grown into a crew of five DJs, who handle weddings all over the region. Every week we work together to make sure each couple gets the night they've been dreaming of. We're not a faceless company. We're a tight-knit team who genuinely love what we do, and it shows on the dance floor.

Our Values

Professionalism first. We're not just there to play songs. We lead your guests through the night as your MC, read the room, and help the whole day run smoothly so you can actually enjoy it.

Preparedness. Every couple gets their own personal planning portal and direct access to their DJ whenever they need anything. By the time we arrive, we know your timeline, your must-plays, your do-not-plays, and how you want the night to feel.

Reverence for the day. This is the most important day of your life, and we treat it that way. We honor the moments that matter and never lose sight of why we're there.

We want The Knox Knot to be the name couples in East Tennessee trust when it comes to their wedding. Not because we're the loudest or the flashiest, but because we show up prepared, lead with care, and deliver a night people remember for the right reasons. As we grow, that standard doesn't change. Every couple gets the same level of attention, the same dedicated team, and the same promise: we'll help run the most important day of your life like it's our own.

What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
